Significant Utility Related Roadwork
Several communications companies are currently working on upgrading and installing new communication cables and conduit throughout the city. This work includes cutting into the roadway and placing or repairing cables and conduit. This work includes placing fiber optic cable on existing poles or installing new underground facilities into the roadway and/or onto sidewalk areas.

Construction Crews for Frontier will be working on the side streets of Jackson Oaks Dr. installing conduit for new fiber optic cables ahead of the City's Pavement Resurfacing Project. This phase of the project will be taking place between Monday 8/1/22 and Saturday 8/6/22. Crews will be trenching across certain portions of the roadway and will be required to briefly stop traffic for repositioning. Please anticipate short delays and travel through the construction area with caution and obey all warning signs and traffic flaggers.
The above schedule is based on necessary conditions and is subject to change. Residents and businesses in the impacted area will receive a notice from the contractor prior to work beginning in the area. Any parking restrictions will be posted on the affected streets a minimum of 72 hours prior to the operation.

For your safety, please travel through work zones/detours carefully or utilize alternative routes and plan for extra travel time when traveling through the work zones. The City appreciates your cooperation and apologizes for any inconveniences while construction is underway as there will be some construction noise, minor inconveniences, and traffic delays during the work.
