Focus on the Blessings!
It's the focus that creates the experience of life. Most days, like almost all of them, for most people, like almost all of us, are filled with things to be grateful for. That doesn't mean the days are challenge free but if we focus on the blessings and our abilities the experience of life can be and is a miraculous journey.

At times the circumstances some are experiencing makes focusing on blessings a great challenge. This is where Place of Possibility Inc makes a difference and sends blessings and gives a parent a moment to express gratitude for the generosity and compassion of humankind. 
(human KIND).

For some, as if the circumstance of a child being on hospice isn't overwhelming enough, the extenuating circumstances that arise so often in the journey seem insurmountable. A child with a terminal diagnosis, bills behind, rent or mortgage unpaid, groceries a challenge to obtain, the needs of other children and family members not met. How does one find gratitude in the midst of it all.

Meet Christina Jo Collette,
aka Nicholas' Mommy
Christina has demonstrated such love and compassion for others even as she herself was experiencing a shattered heart over the passing of her son. She has made the connection with other families to Place of Possibility Inc. Christina is now doing even more as she becomes the lead liaison with Project Parent's Families through Place of Possibility Inc.

THE JOURNEY OF JENNIFER AND EMILEIGH
Our Project Parent liaison Christina reached out to me for a second time last week. We made a contribution to a little girl in the final stages of her journey with DIPG and then a request came in to support Jennifer and her daughter Emileigh. Jennifer did not have access to a printer to complete our request form so she wrote the information down on a piece of paper and texted the picture to Christina.

Jennifer is a single mom whose daughter is in hospice. The circumstances are overwhelming for Jennifer as she is taking care of her daughter all by herself at home. She has no support system except for the periodic check in's from the hospice team. Finances are a huge concern, she is struggling.

Jennifer shared with me that this is Emiliegh's second time having cancer. She was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma when she was 15 months old. It presented as a tumor in her right leg and at the age of 18 months she had her leg amputated.

Emileigh remained cancer free until 15 years later when in 2020 she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She now has metastasis in her left hip and lungs.

Jennifer is extremely grateful and appreciative for your donation in support of her journey!
