August 2022
Message From Our
Co-Presidents

To Our Wonderful Sisterhood Community,

We are happy to be onboard as your new Co-Presidents. We want to thank all our sisters who volunteered and planned a lovely installation luncheon. We also appreciate the efforts of Michelle Taus and Marilyn Stern for coordinating Packing with Purpose which made the installation even more meaningful.

The month of Av commemorates Tisha B’Av, a time of mourning, to Tu B’Av, a time of love, known as a Jewish day that couples find one another. Similarly, Sisterhood is where you find good friends who share in your moments of sorrow and moments of great joy and celebration.

Our goal is to come together as a community of Grandmothers, Moms, and Daughters and create a place to call “Home.” We are stronger as a group when we join as one. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming programs and events, some of which are listed in this issue of Scoop. So come join us and make a difference.

Wishing you a safe and healthy month,
Cici Hallegua and Shan Farahi
