Greetings Rondout Families, Friends and Faculty...
As we eagerly approach the much-anticipated Winter Break, we are thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of activities that foster learning and community spirit starting on Monday and continuing for the four days we are in session next week. Each day will feature a special theme that encourages everyone to participate and showcase their creativity. On Monday, we invite you to embrace "Let It Snow Day" by wearing as much white as possible, hoping that Mother Nature joins in the fun. Tuesday will be a celebration of individuality with "Crazy for Break Day," where you can wear your most outrageous outfit. Wednesday brings "Ugly Sweater Day," perfect for donning your holiday or ugly sweater with pride. Finally, Thursday is "Cozy Day," a delightful occasion filled with winter activities for all our students. Our K-5 students can wear their jammies throughout the day while joining in a packed day of winter wonder. The Upper School engages in a meaningful service project at Feed My Starving Children that morning requiring them to dress in regular clothes and wear closed-toed shoes. They will return for lunch and some upper school station activities through the end of the day.
We are also still recruiting parent volunteers to join us on Cozy Day, so please sign up below to contribute to this joyful experience. Let’s make this week a memorable conclusion to 2024, filled with warmth, learning, and community connection. Stay warm and toasty this weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone on Monday to kick off our winter break festivities!
Take care… Until next time...
