BOARD UNANIMOUS STATEMENT
The Hackberry Creek Board of Directors have unanimously agreed to release a statement concerning the relationship between the Association and the Hackberry Creek Country Club.
 
To read this statement, please go to the community website, log in as a resident, select HOMEOWNERS from the main menu, then select COUNTRY CLUB CONTRACT - BOARD STATEMENT. You may also click the button below. 
 
As part of the statement there are instructions on how to submit any questions you may have on a newly created Forum page just for this issue on the Hackberry Creek Website. Questions submitted on the forum will be open for all residents to see. Beginning Tuesday, August 9th the Village Manager will begin providing responses to forum questions.
 
We encourage all residents to read through the information provided and visit the Forum before the next Board Meeting on August 17th. You must be a registered member of the website to access the statement and forum.
BOARD NOMINATION PERIOD OPENS
MONDAY, AUGUST 1ST
Online form is now available to submit your nomination. If you'd like to self-nominate, please use the online form or contact the office in-person or by mail. We will need a simple, written consent form from you stating your desire to run for the board with a brief biography with a maximum of 500 words. The nomination period runs through Association close of business, on September 4th (5:00pm).
BACK TO SCHOOL - CAUTION NEEDED!
Vacation is almost over with school starting in a few weeks! Please be aware of the safety measures undertaken on Southern Oak, including:

  • No parking, no stopping, no standing on the north side of Southern Oak from the alley adjacent to the park through to Summitview. We need to keep the lane open for moving vehicles and for fire & police in the event of an emergency. This is enforced and has a fine for violations.
  • Crosswalks have been added at the 2 sidewalks at the park to cross Southern Oak. Be aware of pedestrians.
  • Watch your speed. There’s increased radar monitoring in this area.
  • Kids playing in the park. Watch for kids running into the street. A fence is being added in the front of the Southern Oak Park.
ANNUAL MEETING - OCTOBER 19TH - 7:30PM
The Hackberry Creek Annual Meeting is scheduled for October 19th at 7:30pm at the Hackberry Creek Country Club. This year there are 3 board positions up and 2 alternate positions. Expiring terms are Russell Riggins, Bill Daly, and Susie Shaw. The one year alternate terms of Roger Henson and Raveen Arora are also expiring.

Nominations for the Board of Director positions will open up on Monday, August 1st and run through September 4th. The last day nominations will be accepted is September 4th at 5pm in order to be included on the ballot / proxy.

Residents may also come to the office, email us or submit their written request by mail to be included on the ballot.
FULL STOP REQUIRED AT INTERSECTION AFTER PASSING THROUGH GATE 3 ENTRANCE ARMS
Everyone stops at the entrance arms as they enter Gate 3. However, after pulling past the entry arms your vehicle needs to come to a complete and full stop at the intersection. Individuals not coming to a complete stop are subject to fining and violation.

STRICT ENFORCEMENT OF 4-WAY STOPS AT TWO INTERSECTIONS BEGINS NEXT WEEK
We now have two new 4-way intersections in the neighborhood at Clearspring Drive S. & Ruston and Creekside Circle N & Ruston . PLease nsure you are coming to a complete stop at these intersections. These locations will be monitored more frequently and those vehicles not coming to a complete stop will be cited.
YOUR VACATION PHOTOS NEEDED!
The upcoming October/November issue of Hackberry Creek Living Magazine will feature our annual Best Summer Vacation Ever photos! Please submit your photos to Nancy Miller at: studio.design1@hotmail.com, along with a short description including who is in the photo and where it was taken and by September 10th.
COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SEPTEMBER SALE
Becca Piriano has volunteered to lead the effort to have a neighborhood garage sale later this year! Becca will provide more information as it becomes available but the location (it will not be inside Hackberry Creek) is likely to be the IBC parking lot and timing would be in the latter part of September. If you can volunteer to help please click button below to email her!
ASSESSMENTS NOW PAST DUE
Your Hackberry Creek Annual Assessment and Special Assessment are now past due if you have not yet paid. If you have not paid you can do so online by going to the website, logging in, selecting HOMEOWNERS and choosing the PAY ASSESSMENTS / MAKE PAYMENT option. This will take you to the third-party website that handles online payments. Or you can click the button below to go there now!
NOW - SUBMIT YOUR QUESTIONS FOR BOARD MEETINGS IN ADVANCE!
We have added another feature to the community website! Now, if you have a question for the resident input section during the Board Meeting you can submit it in advance for Board review. The form is available 24/7 on the community website. Any submissions turned in before noon the Friday before the Board meeting will be placed in the Board Packet for review. Questions may be edited for clarity and / or combined in the case of duplicate or similar questions. Simply log-in as a homeowner, select CONTACT from the menu and from the sub-menu select QUESTION FOR NEXT BOARD MEETING.

Oh Balls! is rolling back out to Hackberry Creek and slinging from 5-7 pm or sellout. Walk up orders are encouraged.

Under the direction of the Village Manager, the Administrative Coordinator works with homeowners to provide new homeowner orientations, vehicle registrations, membership support and clerical duties. The Administrative Coordinator also processes new vendor applications, invoices, and provides the onsite team and Board of Directors with support with all facets of Hackberry Creek operations.

Compliance Coordinator

Under the direction of the Village Manager, the Community Standards Coordinator conducts inspections of residential properties within the community to determine if violations of deed restrictions exist with specific reference to property maintenance and aesthetics. The Community Standards Coordinator works with Hackberry Creek homeowners to ensure compliance when violations are found, while maintaining accurate records of complaints and inspections made

Weiser Security Captain

The Security Captain at Hackberry Creek is tasked with the daily oversight of Gate Guard and Security operations and is responsible for scheduling and staffing all guard houses, ensuring security protocols are followed at all times. The Security Captain also monitors vehicular traffic and speeds throughout the community, issuing citations as needed and works hand-in-hand with the onsite team to ensure all residents, guest, contractors and other personnel have been appropriately screened before being granted access to the community
