February 2024 Newsletter

From our Director

Dear Beloved Members, Pastors, and Supporters:

As we step into the month of February, a time often associated with love, let's reflect on the profound connection between our love for God and our love for people. In embracing this connection, we discover the beauty of sharing the gospel, performing random acts of kindness, and serving those around us.

**Sharing the Gospel:**

At the heart of our faith is the message of love and salvation found in the gospel. Be intentional this month to share the incredible story of God's love and grace with someone who may be seeking hope or understanding. Whether through conversation, literature, or acts of

compassion, let's open our hearts to spread the transformative power of God's love with a hurting humanity.

**Random Acts of Kindness:**

In a world that can sometimes feel chaotic, small acts of kindness can have a profound impact. This February, let's commit to intentional acts of generosity. Whether it's a smile, a kind word, or a thoughtful gesture, these random acts of kindness become tangible expressions of the

love we've received from God and can build bridges that allow us to have spiritual conversations. Let's create a ripple effect of positivity that brightens the lives of those around us.

**Serving Someone:**

Jesus modeled a life of service, and in this month of love, let's follow in His footsteps. Find, or create opportunities to serve someone in need—whether it's volunteering at a local organization, helping a neighbor, or simply lending a helping hand to a friend. Through service, we embody the love that God has shown us, making a real difference in the lives of others.

As we navigate February, let's deepen our connection with God through acts of love. By sharing the gospel, performing random acts of kindness, and serving those around us, we become vessels of God's love in a world that desperately needs it. May this month be a reminder that love, rooted in our faith, has the power to transform lives and bring light to the

darkest corners of our world.

Showing and expressing love should not be relegated to one month, or one day within that month. Love is what we should show and share every day of the year, and this year, being a leap year, we get an extra day to do so. I’m ready, Let’s Go!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a
