Boys Wrestling State Send-Off!

Congratulations to the RB Boys Wrestling Team on qualifying for the IHSA Dual State Tournament in Bloomington this weekend! This is the 3rd time in the last 5 years that the wrestling program has qualified for the Dual Team State Tournament. Good luck, Bulldogs!

Mrs. Patty Sarkady Selected as the 2024 Illinois Digital Educators Alliance Classroom Teacher of the Year!

Congratulations to Mrs. Patty Sarkady on being selected as the 2024 Illinois Digital Educators Alliance (IDEA) Classroom Teacher of the Year! The IDEA Educator of the Year Award honors educators who have made outstanding contributions integrating technology in education for Illinois schools and students. Riverside Brookfield High School is very fortunate to have Mrs. Sarkady as a CTE/Business & Technology Instructor!

AP Art and Design Field Trip

AP Art and Design students visited Bark Design and Chicago artist Nancy Rosen's studio. Bark Design is a Graphic Design and Web Development Studio located in Chicago with clients in industries including museums, education, technology, the arts, and others. Nancy Rosen is a Chicago-based artist with over 40 years of painting and teaching experience. Her work has appeared in movies and TV, most recently in the Netflix series Grace and Frankie.

Metro Suburban Honor Band Performance

RBHS had 30 students participate in the final Metro Suburban Honor Band at Ridgewood High School! Musicians from RB, Ridgewood, and Elmwood Park performed in a concert together with conductor Bryan Miller.

Core Science Hot Air Balloon Activity

Core Physical Science students have been studying how heat transfers in three ways: radiation, convection, and conduction. Students tested a hot air balloon to demonstrate the effect of convection. Ms. Brush held a heat gun at the bottom of the balloon, filling it with warm air. As the air inside the balloon was heated, the molecules began to move around and spread out, and the air became less dense. The surrounding, colder air fell beneath the hot air and forced the warm air and the balloon up.

Bulldog Baseball Youth Camp

RBHS Baseball is hosting a youth baseball camp for all 3rd-8th graders in the district on Saturday, March 2 from 1:30-3:00 PM, led by RB coaches and players on the Fieldhouse. The cost is $20 per person on the day of. Please scan the QR code or click this link to sign up. Hope to see you there!

Game Night: March 8

The Senior Class officers are hosting a GAME NIGHT on Friday, March 8, from 6:00-8:30 pm! There will be dodgeball, karaoke, inflatables, concessions, music, prizes, and fun!

In order to use the inflatables, you will need a permission slip signed before the Game Night. The waiver can be found here or in the Main Office.

If you would like to play dodgeball, get a team of yourself and 4 friends and sign up during your lunch period starting Monday, 2/26!
