Hello St. Alphonsus,

Celebrate Sunday Mass at

St. Alphonsus!

In the context of this Sunday Gospel's focus on the mystery of the Holy Trinity, the reading calls our attention to the action of God, who reveals himself in three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father, out of love for the world, sent his Son into the world in order to save it. Through the death and resurrection of the Son, we have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit. As three persons, God acts always as a God of love; he does not condemn the world but acts to save it.

The Gospel also calls attention to the response that is required of us. God’s love for us calls us to respond in faith by professing our belief in God’s son, Jesus, and the salvation that he has won for us. This profession of faith is a sign of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Join all Catholics in honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus this June, one of the most beautiful of all Catholic devotions, a time to deepen our devotion to His endless love and mercy. Let us open our hearts to receive His grace and share His message of hope with the world! A meditation on its history

Reconciliation is available each Wednesday during Adoration from 6:30-7:30 PM and on Saturdays at 11 AM.

Daily prayer keeps you in good relationship with the LORD, and yourself.

Invite your friends/loved ones to Mass! Sunday Mass schedule in English is at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 5 PM. Mass in Spanish is at 12:30 PM.

Ministers of Care

Are you interested in serving our St. Al’s community in a special way? We are currently looking for volunteers to be part of the Ministers of Care ministry at St. Al’s! Volunteers will bring Holy Communion to parishioners that are sick or homebound on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Typically volunteers have brought communion Monday after the 8:30 AM mass, however, the timing could be adjusted based on the volunteer’s schedule. It takes about 90 minutes to distribute communion depending on how many parishioners you are visiting. Please contact Stephanie Sullivan for more information!

If you would like to become more involved in various parish ministries, please complete a brief survey! We invite you to join us in responding to the vocational call of our shared baptism. Please consider the ways in which you may be generous with your time and talent for the sake of the Kingdom of God and the mission with St. Alphonsus.

Do you have upcoming exciting events that you would like to share with our St. Alphonsus Church and our parish school communities? You can share them here!

Did you know that you can view all upcoming church events on the calendar on our website? If your ministry has an event that you would like to host at St. Alphonsus, you can complete the Plan An Event formAny inquiries can also be directed to the parish Office Manager, Mario Serrano.

St. Alphonsus Teaching Mass and Q&A- Tuesday June 6 at 6:30 PM

Have you ever wondered where certain parts of the mass come from and how the mass as it is now became to be? Have you ever wanted to ask why the priest adds water to the wine? What does the sign we make before the Gospel mean? Now is your chance to learn and ask questions! Our Pastor Father Steve will be hosting a Teaching/Explanatory mass. The event begins at 6:30 PM and will begin with a brief explanation of the history of mass. We will then worship with daily mass, but Father Steve will stop at appropriate times during the mass to explain what he is doing and why. After mass, we will open the floor to questions you may have that were not covered. All questions are welcome. This is a great time for everyone to learn more about mass and I guarantee at least one other person is wondering the same thing you are! Depending on what time we finish, we will be having a social with drinks on the roof of St. Alphonsus after the event.

This event is open to everyone at the Parish, so feel free to invite anyone, young adult or not! This is a unique event, so be sure to come!
