Complete the Annual Parent Satisfaction Survey!

Dear Families,

The annual parent satisfaction survey opened on Tuesday of this week. If you missed the message, you can access the survey via this link, or the QR code below.

Please take a few minutes to tell us about your experiences at Trivium Prep. Your feedback affirms what we do well and tells us what we need to do better. The survey will remain open until midnight on Tuesday, March 5.

Because your feedback is so important to us, we want to encourage every family to participate. To that end, if we achieve a participation rate of 80% or higher, we will celebrate with a special dress-down day where students and staff may wear jeans (pants) and non-uniform sneakers to school!

Current Volunteer/Donation Opportunities

We love our volunteers! Here are current opportunities to volunteer at Trivium Prep. Volunteers serving on-campus during the school day must be Raptor-cleared.

Digital Devices and Academic Distractions

Research shows that cell phone use during study time leads to lower grades.

  • Research doesn’t support multi-tasking and studying. Studies show a decline in learning when scholars text, use social media, or surf online while they work.
  • Limiting the use of devices during work time will improve focus and may reduce the desire to be permanently attached to their devices.

Academy Giving

We need your help to keep our school fully funded for this school year.

The Arizona Public School Tax Credit (TC) drive supports character-building activities including athletics, enrichment courses, and field trips.

Every Arizona resident is eligible to contribute their Public School Tax Credit, claim it on their state taxes, and receive the same amount on their tax return.

We ask parents to give $200 if they file individually or $400 if they file jointly. We also ask extended family, faculty, and friends to give their Tax Credits as well.

We ask you to make a lasting commitment to your scholars and our school through the tax credit.

Take the Tax Credit Today!

Tax Credits fund the school, field trips, enrichment courses, athletics and more.

Health Office Updates

Dear Trivium families,

Tired. Grumpy. Headaches. Lacking focus. These are just a few of the things that can happen when students are hungry at school.

Unfortunately, we are seeing a large number of students who are not eating breakfast and/or lunch. From the growing body of research, it is clear that what young people eat (and do not eat) can affect not only their physical health but their mood, mental health, participation in sports and activities and engagement in learning. We are asking for parents help in making sure their scholar is eating breakfast every morning and either packing a lunch or getting one from My Hot Lunchbox.

Allergy season has begun. February through June are typically the worst months for allergy sufferers as the warmer temperatures and windy conditions mean high pollen counts and aggravated symptoms. Symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, and red, watery, and itching eyes.

We are asking for donations of tissues in the Health Office. Donations can be left in the front office labeled for the Trivium Prep Health Office. Thank you for the support in keeping our Knights healthy.

In partnership,

Christine Work, RN

Communication Updates

Latest News image TVP.png

You can find all school-wide communications on our website on the Latest School Updates page.

If you know of parents who are not receiving these communications, please ask them to check their junk/promotions email folders, and then email bmcdonald@triviumprep.org for assistance.

School Messenger Communication

Great Hearts and Trivium Prep continue to utilize the system School Messenger for emails, robo-calls, and text messaging to inform families of campus related academy emergencies and other communications. SchoolMessenger has a new automatic opt-in for text feature. During the registration/re-enrollment process families confirmed their wish to participate in text communications. Great Hearts will now automatically opt in contact information given during the registration/re-enrollment process with the options you selected. You will notice at the beginning of July you will be opted in for text messaging. If you would like to opt out of text messages simply reply STOP to the text from 67585. You can also enter the code 67585 with the message STOP to block any text messaging. Please note, if opting out, you will not receive texts regarding emergencies on campus.
