(I apologize for not getting this in

last week's e-Connections)

Dear Highland Family,

I had hoped to send a letter the usual way, but life intervened and I missed my opportunity. Noah celebrated his 11th birthday last week and graduated from 5th grade today. Abby flew in from Austin for the events, so there was lots of family time and celebrating. I have been leading worship and preaching while our interim pastor is on vacation. And Chris is just as busy as ever. So I hope this email with a letter attached is not too far out of order.

Thank you for the announcement and invitation. We wish we could join you for this time of celebration marking Highland's 40th anniversary. But know that you continue to be in our thoughts and remembered in our prayers.

Jim Rollins
