The 22nd Annual Brain Aneurysm Foundation Run/Walk – New England, previously known as the Arterial Challenge, took place on a rainy April 30th. Despite the inclement weather, the event experienced an impressive turnout, with over 700 participants showing up, equipped with umbrellas, raincoats, and an unwavering determination to make a difference in the lives of those affected by brain aneurysms.
This year's walk exceeded all expectations, thanks to the dedication and generosity of participants, donors, and sponsors. We saw a huge increase in donations due to a shift in our fundraising model. As a result, the event managed to triple its donor reach, with over 1000 individuals learning about the BAF and contributing to its mission. Not only did we raise vital funds to support ongoing research and education initiatives, but we also succeeded in raising critical awareness about brain aneurysms.
A big thank you to Boston's own Bill Brett for capturing great photos of the event, which can be viewed HERE.
