Password Change

The password for Utah's Online School Library will change on August 1. Access the new password by logging on to Utah’s Online School Library.

  • Utah Rural School Conference: The URSA conference will be held at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. This conference is targeted toward K-12 educators in rural Utah. UEN technology trainers will offer many great sessions. July 6-8

  • Utah Asian Festival: Stop by the Utah Education Network's booth to play Kingyo-sukui, and learn more about our broadcast channel 9.4 NHK World-Japan. July 9 at the Utah State Fairpark.

  • Show Up For Teachers Conference: Utah First Lady Abby Cox has organized a conference to support educators and promote teacher wellness. The one-day conference will feature breakout sessions on mental health. UEN will be in attendance. This conference can count toward the EdTech Endorsement. July 12 at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace in Salt Lake City.

  • Governor’s Native American Summit: Join Utah Education Network for the 16th Annual Governor’s Native American Summit. UEN will be sharing our latest online resources, showcasing channel 9.3 FNX, and previewing our fall film festival. July 28 at the University of Utah.

  • UEN Homeroom (LitFlix Series): Build a community of readers in this episode of Summer Reading with UEN LitFlix. Listen to learn about the Summit County Library’s reading groups and how the groups are encouraging the community to come together to become stronger readers.

Visiting websites that offer free services or products is a common way to compromise your devices. Some examples are sites with free upgrades, plugins, or digital products for popular games such as Minecraft, Fortnite, Call of Duty, or League of Legends. 

Sometimes we need the discipline to put the security of our devices above the satisfaction of downloading a free plugin that might offer an edge in an online game. Free items often come with unseen costs down the road. If it seems too good to be true, don’t click on it.
  • Roadtrip Nation: Being You: Roughly one in five people lives with learning and attention issues (LAIs) like ADHD and dyslexia, yet many of those who live with LAIs feel alone. Learn of successes. Thursday, July 14at 8 p.m.

  • My World Too: This series shares these inspirational stories of environmental stewardship, organic practices, and Earth-friendly innovations that viewers can learn from and apply in their own lives. Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m
  • Water’s Way, Thinking Like a Watershed: Learn how development and agriculture have affected the Chesapeake region and how natural process may be the secret to restoring the ecology. July 4 at 9 p.m.

UETN Appoints new CEO and Executive Director

The governing board of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network appointed Spencer Jenkins as the new CEO and Executive Director of UETN. Jenkins, who was associate commissioner of the Utah System of Higher Education, succeeds Dr. Ray Timothy who retired July 1. Timothy has served as UETN’s CEO for the past decade. Read the press release.
