8:45 and 11:00 a.m.

First Sunday in Lent

Join us this Sunday at 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. as Dr. Ryan Baer will preach a sermon entitled, Shocked. The scripture lessons for this week are Psalm 19:7-10 and Mark 10:17-31. We will celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism of James David (JD) Dantzler, son of James and Courtney Dantzler, grandson of Anne and David Dantzler, at the 11:00 a.m. service.

At the 11:00 a.m. service, the Chancel Choir will sing Wash Me Throughly, by David Halls, as the anthem.

You can follow the livestream of the services on Facebook or YouTube. For instructions to follow livestream through Facebook or YouTube, click here. Find the text and audio from previous weeks' sermons, along with a copy of the bulletin, here.

Wed@First is Back!

Resources for Lent 2024 at FPC

This Lent, we have several opportunities and resources that you may use to guide your 40 days. We come to Christ’s table hungry for many different things and there is always a seat for us there. However you choose to observe this season—in community or in solitude, with reflection or action - we pray that it is a time of intentionality and attentiveness to yourself and to your relationship with God.

Hosts Needed for Atrium Fellowship

Members and guests enjoy the opportunity to stop in the Atrium after the 11:00 a.m. Sunday service to greet friends, introduce themselves to guests, and welcome new members. Lemonade, water, sweet and salty snacks are provided and served by the hosts of this popular fellowship time.

We are in need of families, couples, or groups to volunteer as hosts. Three people can easily organize and handle the refreshments. Punch bowls, cups, napkins, trays and lemonade are available in the kitchen next to Fellowship Hall. The Fellowship & Evangelism Commission is available to answer questions and assist.

The following dates are available:3/3, 3/10, 3/17, and 3/24 (Palm Sunday). Please consider volunteering to host a Fellowship Time by contacting Judy Burch at 912-602-0766 or e-mail bgrammyb5@aol.com.
