A NOTE FROM BRYAN

April brings the hope we find in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, who carried the weight of the cross so that we may have a relationship with the Father through His sacrifice. Just like how relationship restoration was at the center of Jesus’ ministry here on earth, so is our mission here at Elevate. Our programs work to emulate the love that Jesus has shown to us, to our neighbors in need. We celebrate the life we find in Jesus this month, and we also celebrate the life our neighbors can live when they have proper access to the resources and relationships we all need to thrive. THE FUTURE IS ENTREPRENEURSHIP

We’re celebrating our Elevate Entrepreneur graduates with a commencement ceremony on April 25th at 7:00 P.M. at the Elevate Branson campus, 310 Gretna Road. Our entrepreneurs have worked diligently over the last few months to learn all the necessary tools and steps needed to successfully launch their own full-time or side-business. Each of them demonstrates a true passion for their work, and we’re looking forward to celebrating them as they launch their small local businesses in our community.

WORLD AUTISM MONTH

April is Autism Awareness month, and we’re hosting an Autism Awareness Day at our campus on Thursday, April 27th, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., featuring guests from the Branson Fire Department, Branson Police, and more. The Branson Police Department will be available on-site to share information on Project Life Saver, a system that alerts local police of pertinent medical information on individuals with autism so they can be mindful of how to further engage in the case of an emergency. The community is also welcome to tour our Sensory Room, and meet our therapy dog, Theo.

ELEVATE WORK GRADUATION - IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

We celebrated 16 Elevate Work students with a graduation ceremony last month, and honored each of them for the growth they achieved over the nine-week course. Our next Elevate Work class is currently in session, and we’re already anticipating tremendous amounts of hope, dignity and purpose to be restored for our neighbors in the coming weeks as class continues. GETTING THERE WITH ELEVATE RIDES FEATURING MYCITYRIDES BRANSON

Elevate Rides featuring MyCityRides Branson is underway, and we hosted our first official Scooter School at the end of March. Businesses are encouraged to learn more about our Business Partnership opportunity to take advantage of the benefits we offer to help business owners increase and retain their workforce. This includes the opportunity to gain access to Elevate Rides featuring MyCityRides Branson, our affordable transportation initiative that offers motorized scooters for employed individuals in Stone and Taney Counties. MEET OUR NEIGHBOR, MARCUS

“My name is Marcus, and I’ve struggled with addiction since 2005. I woke up recently and realized that living in addiction isn’t the kind of life I want for myself. I don’t want to be homeless, or in jail or on drugs. Elevate Branson has helped me get my ID so I can go get a job. I also come to Elevate to work the rewards program so I can earn things like clothes and food. I know the journey ahead will be difficult, there’s always urges with addiction, but I’m ready to keep my head up, and trust God through this new beginning.” It takes courage to seek something different. Marcus has the ambition and determination needed to choose a different path, and we’re thankful that we get to walk it with him!
