Sewer Night Work Continues Tonight

The sewer night work that began last night will continue tonight, Thursday, June 1st and will take place between the hours of 9:00 PM and 4:00 AM. The City’s contractor will be utilizing a high-pressure hose and vacuum truck to perform the cleaning operations in the middle of select streets. Please note that night work is necessary due to flow volumes in the lines. While we strive to minimize disruptions as much as possible, it is important to note that there may be some noise impacts associated with the cleaning activities. Please be assured that there will be no complete lane closures throughout the process.

Basketball Court Resurfacing at Fletcher Cove Park

We are excited to announce further renovations at Fletcher Cove Park are set to take place next week to refurbish our beloved basketball court. Starting Monday, June 5th, the court will be temporarily closed for essential maintenance and is anticipated to reopen on Monday, June 12th. During this time, the existing court will receive much needed love and attention, including cleaning, filling of cracks, and the installation of a brand-new sports court surfacing. But that's not all! We're taking this opportunity to upgrade the basketball hoop and frame. Although we expect the court to reopen on June 12th, we'll do our best to expedite the process if circumstances allow.
