The California Chapter’s Annual Massage & Bodywork Educational Conference was held virtually, again, this year. Over 3 days, the Chapter offered over 20 hours of continuing education, plus an additional 9 hours of enrichment workshops.

Submit Your Comments on the Interstate Massage Therapy Compact

Since the summer of 2021, AMTA has been working with the Council of State Governments (CSG) and FSMTB as part of the Technical Advisory Group to help guide the direction of drafting the language of the Interstate Compact. We are pleased to announce that on June 8th, the draft language was made available for review and public comment.

Have you ever made use of “National Day/Month Calendars”? and where do those come from? These Recognition, Celebration, Awareness months could offer you a boost in your business. For example, one of the recognitions for June is “National Migraine and Headache Month”. Having pamphlets, infographics, or taking continuing education courses to be more aware of how massage can make a difference.
