Lake Shore Drive Southbound Closure
The 36th annual Chicago Triathlon is taking place this weekend, with several streets affected by road closures and rerouted traffic.
 
Of particular note is the closure of all southbound lanes of Lake Shore Drive this Sunday morning between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., from Hollywood Avenue to Randolph Street.

Gerald Griffin Talks about His Art
If you missed the artist talks by Gerald Griffin earlier this summer, you have one more opportunity to hear him: this Sunday, August 26 following the 11:00 a.m. service.
 
Come meet Mr. Griffin and learn about the artwork in his exhibition "Paradigm Shift," which is sponsored by the Fourth Church Racial Equity Council. It is on display in the Loggia through Labor Day.

There are several ways to get involved in the mission and ministry of Fourth Church. See below for details!

Current Volunteer Needs  
Pianist for Sunday School Children's Chapel, 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. three Sundays a month  

Administrative volunteer to enter data four hours a week through December  

Sunday Night Supper volunteers

Ushers for the 8:00 a.m. and the 11:00 a.m. usher teams

Jazz at Four greeters for the 4:00 p.m. worship service
 

Current Donation Needs
T-shirts, especially sizes XL and larger, for guests of the Chicago Lights Elam Davies Social Service Center  
 
Adult-sized socks (men's and women's) for guests of the Chicago Lights Elam Davies Social Service Center
   
Individually packaged snacks--especially chips and pretzels--for guests of the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Meals Ministry Bag Lunch program
