Currently, there are over 300 miles of dangerous road walks (gaps) along portions of the Florida National Scenic Trail. These road walks not only put hikers at risk from traffic but also diminish the overall quality of the hiking experience.

We believe it's time to take action and create a safer and more enjoyable trail for outdoor enthusiasts.

Our board of directors has approved a strategic plan calling for the elimination of 50 miles of road walk in the next three years. However, we cannot achieve this ambitious goal without your support.
