Hi Friends!

Tomorrow, a group of our high schoolers will head up to Camp Mikell for our first High School Fall Retreat! Please keep us in your prayers as we travel and throughout the weekend.

This Sunday is our All Saints' Back to The Block Celebration! Please join us at 10am for our service, which includes Blessing of The Backpacks and Celebration of Ministries, and then afterwards for our big party! There will be delicious food, live music, TONS of fun games and inflatables (wear a bathing suit under your clothes to church if you want to go down the water slide!) Word on the street is that there will even be an ice cream truck!

We can't wait to see everyone back on the block for this super fun day with our community. I hope we will see everyone there! Have a wonderful weekend.

Peace,

Hope

PARENT CORNER

Parents Needed for SNL Dinner!

It's that time again, SNL begins September 10th which means our parent meal sign-up is back! There is so much that goes into Sunday's in The Attic and one of the ways that parents can help is by providing our meal during SNL. This can be anything from a homemade meal, take-out, or catering...whatever is easiest for you! This is usually for about 20-25 people.

Please take a look at the available dates and sign-up for a time that works best for you! Thank you so much for your dedication to our youth program, we couldn't do it without awesome parents like you!

HIGH SCHOOL CORNER

High School Pilgrimage 2024

June 9th-15th

We are SO excited to officially announce our High School Pilgrimage location for 2024.

We will be heading to...CROATIA!

We will be embarking on a trip of a lifetime as we journey to the place where so much of early Christianity took place. We will see the impact of Eastern and Western Christianity meeting, learn about and see the work of Titus and the Apostle Paul, learn about the Roman empires influence on Croatia, and so much more. We will even spend a day exploring on the Adriatic Sea!

Our Trip will begin and end in Split, Croatia. but we will also travel to the cities of Makarska, Salona, and Trogir.

It will truly be a trip we will never forget!

The Details:

  • The dates of our pilgrimage will be June 9-15, 2024

  • This is open to all current 10th-12th graders at All Saints'.

  • The cost of the trip is $4000. This is an all-inclusive price and includes airfare, travel insurance, food, and all activities while we are abroad.

We know that this is expensive, which is why we will be fundraising throughout the year. In order to fundraise, we will be closing registration for the trip on October 1st to ensure we have enough time to plan our fundraising opportunities.

Additionally, registration is setup so that you can log into your Realm account and make multiple payments throughout the year if needed.

We are asking for a $200 deposit upon registration to hold your spot on the trip, you are welcome to pay more than that when registering or just the $200!

Commitments:

  • Youth who attend pilgrimage are expected to be active participants in the life of All Saints'.
  • We will be meeting monthly, beginning in October, to start learning about what pilgrimage means, learn about Croatia and their culture, decide on fundraising opportunities, and to build relationship among each other before starting our pilgrim's journey. Pilgrims are expected to attend these monthly meetings as we prepare for our pilgrimage.
  • In May, we will have a Pilgrimage Overnight in The Attic to prepare our hearts and minds for our journey. All pilgrim's will be expected to attend.

Registration:

If you are ready to register, you can do so using the link below. A reminder that registration will close on October 1st so don't waste any time!
