LightWerks Partners with Top Law Firm to Integrate Hybrid Meeting Spaces in Brand New Headquarters |

LightWerks partnered with one of the nation’s most prestigious law firms, Holland & Knight, to integrate state-of-the-art technology in their brand new, flagship downtown Portland, Oregon offices. The international law firm needed a solution for hybrid Zoom meetings so that attorneys, clients, and other professionals could remain connected, collaborative, productive, and engaged regardless of their location. Several meeting spaces were involved in the integration, including a multipurpose room and small and medium conferencing spaces. The project served as a pilot for future hybrid meeting room integrations in other Holland & Knight locations.

This month, LightWerks Communication Systems, Inc. celebrated 25 years of success in the AV industry. To honor this incredible milestone, the LightWerks team, along with our top industry partners gathered for three days of education, connection, and jubilation. The LightWerks 25th Jubilee Celebration and Technology Showcase took place at the lovely South Coast Winery and Resort in beautiful Temecula, California. Global Supply Chain Issues Show No Sign of Letting Up

The global supply chain continues to struggle. Interestingly, we learned from Crestron this month that they are making more product now than before the pandemic. It's just that the demand for solutions has risen exponentially in the last year. That doesn't help at the moment, but it does give some perspective on why the supply of products remains so challenged.
While the effects of the pandemic should continue to ebb, the inflationary effect of the war in Ukraine and other inflationary pressures continue to provide upward pressure on prices. The brands increasing prices at the beginning of April include Biamp, all of the LeGrand brands (C2G, Chief, Da Lite, Luxul, Middle Atlantic, Vaddio, and Wiremold), Premier Mounts, WolfVision, Yamaha, and others.

In addition, with rising fuel costs, a number of manufacturers and shippers have added fuel surcharges on their products and services as well.
In short, we're in for a long spring and summer, and we expect that supply chain issues will persist through the end of the year.
