Meet the Chamber's New Team Member! Frederick Campbell Bowen IV

Chamber Events Director Sara Bowen gave Cape Ann the ultimate gift on Friday, June 18 at 5:59 pm…just in time for our Annual Celebration. Frederick Campbell Bowen IV is 7 lbs, 12 oz, 19” long. We wish Sara, her husband Rick, and her new bundle of joy the very best as they embark on their new family-life adventure.

Thanks to a state grant, the Chamber and the four communities of Cape Ann are offering free business assistance, support and training to help Cape Ann’s small businesses recover from the impacts of the pandemic. To better support local businesses, we’re asking each business owner to complete a very short needs assessment questionnaire by June 30th.

The Cape Ann Museum invites the public to participate in reading abolitionist Frederick Douglass’ 1852 speech What to the Slave is the Fourth of July. Organized under the auspices of Mass Humanities, the event is designed to bring people from all walks of life together to read Douglass’ work and reflect on how themes addressed in the speech still resonate with Americans more than 150 years after they were written.

The Manchester-Essex Rotary Club is excited to announce that their annual red, white and blue pancake breakfast will take place this year at Tuck's Point! Our State Senator, Bruce Tarr, and State Representative, Brad Hill, will be on hand flipping pancakes.
