HOLA has a new Chairman of the Board!

Nadina brings over 15 years of professional experience in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, holding leadership roles in Sales, Operations, and Project Management. She has been recognized as a leader in operational excellence, change management, and building high-performing teams.

Currently, Nadina is a leader at one of the world’s largest Fortune 500 companies.

Although most of her career has been in Corporate America, she is also a successful entrepreneur and investor, owning multiple investment properties and is in the process of opening a franchise in Nashville. Her experience as a female Hispanic-American professional and entrepreneur enables her to teach other Latinos a different way of life – that everything is possible, and dreams can come true with the right opportunities and education.

Nadina is eager to make a difference in the growing Nashville Latin American community in her new role as Chairman of the board!

HOLA's newest board member Neely Baugh

Neely has worked as an immigration attorney in Nashville since 2021 and has been involved with the immigrant and refugee community in Nashville for many years. She has also volunteered with the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC). Before going to law school, Neely volunteered regularly for TIRRC’s DACA clinics as an intake volunteer. These clinic experiences helped her increase her Spanish proficiency and were a large part of her decision to attend law school. At Rose Immigration Law Firm, where she has practiced since March 2021, she represents clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including employment and family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, naturalization, and removal defense. Neely also has experience in cases involving the intersection of immigration and the criminal legal system, as well as federal litigation challenging unlawful agency action and unreasonable delays. Aside from gaining professional experience, Neely has become more familiar with the practical and emotional toll that moving through the immigration system can take on her clients and their families. She strives to be not only a competent advocate but also a compassionate one. She is also committed to educating others about immigration law and advocating for a more free and fair system. Neely welcomes the opportunity to translate her skills and passion as an immigration attorney into service on HOLA’s board.

Meet Jabri Harrison

HOLA Board Member

Jabri is an Author, Speaker and entrepreneur that has been serving on the HOLA board for nearly 2 years. Jabri has his own non-profit organizations and is passionate about this board opportunity to work with the Latino community. He also thinks that Nashville is the best city in the world and he is proud to call it home and work with Latinos here in Nashville.

Hispanic Heritage Month means a lot to Jabri because even in the Hispanic community, there are many different cultures and backgrounds. "It’s a time to learn about our unique differences and the spirit and love that has been passed down from generations before us" says Jabri.

He is proud to work with HOLA because he values community. It takes a village to make things work. It’s all about coming together and making each other and our community better together.

As a board member of HOLA Jabri plans to use his skills to help build relationships and bring more people and partnerships to the organization.

Jabri also loves Latin food. One of his fondest memories is eating all types of dishes at the Aztec temples.

HOLA is excited to have Jabri (a connector with a servant heart), on the board. We are all looking forward to a great 2024!

HOLA welcomes The LATINA Style Business Series event coming to Nashville in April 2024. As the most successful business development program for Latina business owners in the nation, the Series emphasizes creating a solid business foundation that enables Latinas to take their businesses to the next level.

LATINA Style brings this program to four local markets with national partners every year. We are thrilled that they are planning the Series' first stop in Nashville, tentatively scheduled for April 2024. They aim to connect and share the opportunity of entrepreneurship with college students, unlocking various opportunities to grow their future business network and connect them to local resources such as access to capital, certifications, and more.

HOLA welcomes the 2024 LATINA Style Business Series to Nashville. Stay tuned for more information and details to come."
