Arabian Horse Association Offers Breed Recognition Award at USPC Championships

Are you riding an Arabian or Half-Arabian at USPC Championships?


The Arabian Horse Association is pleased to offer a new USPC Championships breed recognition award for the highest-placed registered Arabian or Half/Anglo-Arabian in each discipline.


To be eligible, please complete this form and email it to the Arabian Horse Association prior to the start of the USPC Championships. High Point recipients will receive a certificate and a custom Arabian Horse Youth Association (AHYA) award.

SPORT HORSE NATIONALS PERFORMANCE MATURITY SECOND PAYMENT DUE

 

Planning to show your horse in the AOTR Maturity Class? Be sure your horse is enrolled in the Sport Horse Nationals Performance Maturity Program. Enrollment into the program is required in order to show in these classes.

 

The second payment is due June 1, 2023. If you missed the first payment, you can still enroll. The first payment is $375 and the second payment is $200 (if postmarked/electronic transaction dated by June 1, 2023). In order to avoid additional late fees, the entry can be paid in full $775.

 

The third payment must be submitted on or before July 1, 2023 (postmarked/electronic transaction dated). Payments that are postmarked/electronic transactions dated after the first of each month will be assessed late fees.

 

All Performance Maturity horses must be enrolled in the program and all fees paid no later than the close of entries for Sport Horse Nationals. Nominations are allowed with an additional $750 late fee up until the Final Post Entry Close date for Sport Horse Nationals. Nomination fees do not include the show entry fees, drug fees, stalls, etc.

 

All entries into the Performance Maturity Program must also be entered into the corresponding class for the Sport Horse National Championship Show via an official show entry form.

U.S. NATIONALS PERFORMANCE FUTURITY/MATURITY/DERBY ENROLLMENT 


Planning to show your horse in a Performance Futurity/Maturity/Derby Class? Be sure your horse is enrolled in the U.S. Nationals Performance Futurity/Maturity/Derby Program. Enrollment into the program is required in order to show in these classes.

 

The first payment (or payment in full) for the Performance Futurity/Maturity/Derby Program for U.S. Nationals is June 1, 2023. In order to avoid late fees, the entry can be paid in full ($775 per class or $1,075 for Reining) or the first payment ($345 or $445 for Reining) must be postmarked/electronic transaction dated by June 1, 2023.

 

If you choose the payment option, the second and third payments must be submitted on or before July 1, 2023, and August 1, 2023 (postmarked/electronic transaction dated to the AHA office). Payments that are postmarked/electronic transactions dated after the first of each month will be assessed late fees.

 

All Performance Futurity/Maturity/Derby horses must be enrolled in the program and the total fees paid. Nominations are allowed with an additional $750 late fee or an additional $1,000 late fee for Reining up until the Final Post Entry Close date for US Nationals. Nomination fees do not include the show entry fees, drug fees, stalls, etc.

 

All entries into the Performance Futurity/Maturity/Derby Program must also be entered into the corresponding class for the U.S. National Championship Show via an official show entry form.

Attention all Judges and Stewards!


Convention Delegates approved Draft 2 of Resolution 5-22, establishing the AHA Sport Horse Specialty Card with the effective date of December 31, 2023, or when approved by USEF/EC.


The resolution will allow Arabian judges who obtain the AHA Sport Horse Specialty Card to officiate Arabian/Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian Sport Horse classes at non-regional and non-national level competitions.


An applicant must be a current USEF or EC Arabian division judge, in good standing with all requirements met, and on the AHA List of Approved Judges. There are also competition requirements to fulfill before being accepted into the Training Program with apprenticeship and classroom requirements to complete after acceptance into the Training Program.
