Youth Expo at the Fair
Whether you are looking to enter your cookies, your photography or educational poster, the 4-H/Grange Entry Guide is the place to start.
Here's a few notes about this year's entries:

Entries must be done online by July 18th for everything!
- All Non-perishable entries are to be brought to the fair Friday, July 22, Saturday, July 23 & Sunday, July 24, 2022 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Foods are entered on Sunday, July 31, 2022 - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Group Table Setting Reservations will be accepted July 18-24, 2022 only by email: youth@venturacountyfair.org
And, remember you can bank some extra community service hours by hosting in the Youth Building. Arrange your hosting hours by emailing the youth building.

Scholarships Awarded
On June 28th, Bob Rich of the Topa Topa Flywheelers presented Adler Striegel, Travis Smith, and Allison Reiman with Topa Topa Flywheeler Scholarships for local students planning to study and pursue careers related to agriculture. Additionally, Allison Reiman was awarded the Norma Oteham Rich Memorial Scholarship.

Golden Clover Awarded
Congratulations to Ashley Porter, 2021 4-H Golden Clover Winner in the category of Member Mentoring Award! She received a $250 award, a plaque, and pin. The Golden Clover Awards are statewide awards to recognize outstanding achievements of members, volunteers, program staff, and groups within the 4-H Youth Development Program.

Beginning July 19th, Leaders and members will be able to begin enrolling for the 2022-23 4-H Program Year.
More information will be sent to families once the 4hOnline system is available.

2022 County Record Book Competition
|
|
Record Books for County competition will be due to the UCCE Office by August 22. Due to limited staffing, drop-off appointments are highly recommended.
|
|
Uncle Leo's Barn Volunteers
While making your plans for the Ventura County Fair, remember to volunteer for a host shift or two at Uncle Leo's Barn. There are barn activities to help with and many fair-goer questions to answer.
