Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly evolving and has the potential to make a significant difference to international organizations like the United Nations. With a proposed AI summit of world leaders looming on the horizon, journalist Thalif Deen posed several questions to ChatGPT, an AI-powered chatbot developed by OpenAI.
UN Bureau Chief and Regional Director IPS North America, has been covering the UN since the late 1970s. A former deputy news editor of the Sri Lanka Daily News, he was a senior editorial writer for the Hong Kong daily, The Standard.
