The Lunch Bunch will be meeting at Pok-e-Jo's

after the Worship Service. All are invited!

John 13:31-35 (New Revised Standard Version)

31 When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him. 32 If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself and will glorify him at once. 33 Little children, I am with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and as I said to the Jews so now I say to you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’ 34 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

3. Acree, Mary -- recent hospitalization for heart rate and infection issues

4. Barnett, Barbara -- daughter Michelle is in need of back surgery

5. Blair, Anna Marie -- scheduled for hip surgery on May 16

6. Boles, Gayle -- asks for prayers for her friends Terri and Rena, both with health issues

7. Collier, Gary -- recovering from a broken foot

8. Cratin, Katherine – Katherine’s brother, Kenneth Smith, is recovering after heart surgery

9. Cueva, Rafael and Deb -- Deb is recovering from a broken foot; Rafael's mother Gladys remains hospitalized and has recently been able to go without a ventilator for brief periods

10. Fennimore, Nancy -- niece Thresa is undergoing cancer treatments

11. Greene, Emmiline -- prayers for Emmiline and her family following the sudden and unexpected death of her son Judson; the celebration of Judson's life will be May 21st

12. Guilbeau, Cynthia and Rick -- Cynthia is recovering from a fall and multiple fractures of her upper arm

13. Habtemariam, Solomon and Meaza -- Solomon is consulting with specialists regarding congestive heart failure and apnea; he was hospitalized for several days last month

14. Jenkins, Bob -- Bob's sister, Janet, is receiving treatments for melanoma

15. Johnston, Janette -- mother Billie's health is failing; granddaughter Izzy is again needing to consult with specialists about her heart valve anomaly

16. Knight, Keith -- prayers for Harold Vogel, who has had a stroke; he is the father of Keith's partner Renee

17. Mouser, Tricia -- cataract surgery scheduled for 5/16

18. Nichols, Martha -- recent heart cath revealed no additional blockages

19. Osteen, Amy and Steve -- brother-in-law, Mike Murphy, being treated for pancreatic cancer

20. Pollock, Tara -- her husband Chris and her best friend Rebecca Green are involved in a search for an escaped inmate

21. Tucker, Gary and Amy -- Amy is seeking relief from tinnitus; Gary will have a sinus procedure on 5/23 to hopefully bring some relief from chronic headaches; brother Terry Tucker is being treated for cancer

22. Walker, Rod & Lisa -- Lisa is seeking to be put on a kidney transplant list

23. Wilson, Phyllis -- sister Jane Hudson being treated for kidney cancer

24. An end to the Russian invasion of Ukraine

25. York, Tasha -- her mother Peggy Massey is undergoing rehab therapy at Encompass; is expected to return to The Court next week
