GUEST PREACHER REV. DR. CHRISTIE ROBBINS

Christie Robbins is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, where she was a member of Ridglea United Methodist Church and graduated from Western Hills High School. Majoring in psychology with a religion minor, Christie obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She continued her education receiving Master of Divinity with a concentration in pastoral care and counseling from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University, as well as as well as being awarded a Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary in May 2014. Christie is the proud mother of three children: Brandon and his wife, Elizabeth, Marion, and Tom, and is married to Pastor Joel Robbins.

Wanted- Director of Student Ministries
In order to continue building our youth program, we are currently seeking a Director of Student Ministries. The Student Director is responsible for the direction and oversight of the ministry for middle and high school students. The position is paid, part-time, with hours after school and weekends (primarily Sundays). Hunter Reynolds serves as an assistant to the position. If you, a family member or friend is interested, please contact the SPR Committee via Geoff Mantooth.

SUPPORT GROUPS FOR AREAS OF LIFE
Our groups are open to adults in our community who are experiencing life's challenges. We all have difficult times in our lives when we need loving, compassionate support.
- Alzheimer's Support Group & Kaliedoscope - meets the second Thursday of each month at 1:00pm.
- Cancer Support Group - meets the second Tuesday of each month
- Veterans Support Group - meets the third Thursday of each month

MEN'S DEVOTIONAL BREAKFAST
Mondays, 7:30am, Chapel
Pastor Joel will be sharing a short devotional with this group. Burritos and coffee will be served. This is an opportunity to meet new people and decompress. The goal is for those not retired, to get back on the road by 8:15, at the latest. A donation of $5 is asked to cover the cost.

MANNA ROOM FOOD PANTRY
Our Manna Room helps support families in our community; providing them with basic food needs, but also helping to free up some of their income so they can pay their bills or other debts.
If you would like to help feed our neighbors, we are currently short of the following items:
We are very well stocked with all other items. Please be sure to check the expiration dates. Donations can be placed in the marked bin in the Narthex. Thank you for your faithfulness in feeding our hungry friends.
