2024 Congregational Meeting of Emmanuel Lutheran Church
will take place on
This Sunday, January 21,2024 at 11:15am
following the FaithBridge worship service.
We urge all members to attend this important annual event in which we will vote to approve the 2024 Operating Budget and
elect the leaders of our congregation.
An email to members with the proposed 2024 Operating Budget was sent on January 8, 2024. Printed copies can also be picked up at the office.
Because of a gracious grant from Thrivent, brunch will be served following the Annual Meeting. A freewill offering will be collected to benefit the 2024 Youth Gathering trip to New Orleans!
Thank you to Pr. Bob and Ausma Mursch

What a blessing!
After many, many years of service Jean Price and Jackie Miller have resigned as leaders for the Dorcas Quilting Circle. They were honored by the Executive Committee and quilting group members this week for their dedication and inspiration. NOW..that does NOT mean they have stopped - these ladies are still quilting and serving!
DORCAS meets every Monday at 9am, Room 105.

From the well-respected Harvard Medical School comes this surprising revelation. Cocoa may help relieve leg pain due to impaired circulation. They also found out that cocoa drinkers were able to walk farther and that it also improved muscle function and blood flow into the calves. Researchers believe cocoa may contain an ingredient that helps muscle cells use oxygen more efficiently. No specifics on whether there is any difference between hot or cold cocoa. Now this is something I can do! I wonder if little marshmallows help?
