Chinese Mandarin Ministry

Sunday at 9:15am

Each Sunday morning, our Chinese congregation meets in the Worship Centre to study the Word of God and how it applies to their lives. Please pray for our Mandarin speaking ministry as they begin to look for a new Pastor to lead them.

Persian Ministry

Wednesday 6:30pm

Each Wednesday evening, our Persian congregation meets in the Worship Centre to learn what it means to follow Jesus. Many of them are new followers of Jesus. Please pray for this Farsi speaking ministry as they reach the Iranian community of Newmarket.

New Flame Ministry

Our pantry is available to anyone who needs a little help to make ends meet. Here's what we need this week:

Canned meat, hearty soups, spaghetti or macaroni noodles, pasta sauce, snack bars/granola bars, puddings and fruit cups, juice boxes, small instant coffee, tea bags and peanut butter

Warm Hearts & Hands

Can you imagine spending a night in your home this winter without heat? Everyday, many people in our community are living in need of assistance. The nights are getting colder, and there is a big need for:

Mens and womens gloves and warm socks, scarves, and ground sheets

Contributions to the Porch Pantry and to Warm Hearts & Hands can be dropped off downstairs in the Worship Centre in the two food pantry baskets provided. Thank you!

All tithes and financial gifts for the work at Christian Baptist Church are directed through the GENERAL FUND where the church board is responsible to direct them to meet the expenses of our fellowship and ministries. All donations are administered through the annual budget by the Church Board under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
