From Sam Beshers & Lynn Wiley: Joy for the wedding last weekend of our son Max to Dan Forbush, and for getting to know members of their queer community in Chicago, the joy they bring to the world and the many ways they are making a difference.
From Sam Beshers: Joy for Janet, who leadership has been so important for the Worship
Committee; her organization, intellect, creativity, style and grace will be missed, even as she brings these same qualities to the ministerial Search Team.
From Christine Cahill: My joy of officially retiring after 20 years as a school librarian is dimmed by the tragedy in Texas.
From Gail Cohen: Continued blessings to Kathy Robinson - Keep fighting!!!
From Doug Jones: Thursday, 5/26/2022, Teresa was at our cabin, the water line burst. From Champaign, I reached the water co-op and a couple of neighbors. The water was off in 40 minutes. Neighbors removed over 900 sq ft of soaked flooring. We are grateful for the water co-op quick action, good neighbors stepping up and mostly that Teresa was there. The cabin is often empty. Days of water would have totaled the cabin.
From Joe Omo-Osagie: Welcome to the hood of choices. Where you are and what you will do and become has yet to been written. This new phase of life is going to be filled with hope and a bridge somewhere. Don't leave this behind you are meant to be filled with humanity and love which is inherent.
From Cathy Ritchie: On May 24, a cherished Texas friend of several decades joyfully gave birth to her first child at age 40. Her son, a new Texas native, was born 2 hours after over 20 other Texans lost their lives senselessly to gunfire. This juxtaposition of fortunes is so sad and ironic that it leaves me speechless.
From Debbie Rugg: Kathy Robinson is home getting treated locally because she was accepted into a new clinical trial. She is pleased.
From Angela Urban: Congrats to all the grads and special thank you to our dear Cousin Rose and all of our friends and loved ones for being able to attend in all of the festivities.
