RPT Vice Chair Candidate Forum
THIS FRIDAY!
This Friday Texas Federation of Republican Women and I will host the much anticipated forum featuring the three announced candidates for RPT Vice Chair, Adrianne Pena-Garza, Alma Jackson and Dana Myers. As you know our current Vice Chair, Cat Parks, will not be seeking the position again so this is considered an “open race.” Our Chair and Vice Chair are critical leaders of the Republican Party of Texas so this will be an important vote for our convention delegates. Whether you will be voting in this race or not you are invited to join us. Anyone who cares about the future of our party and our state should plan to log on. Delegates and interested parties alike will benefit from hearing directly from the candidates their platforms and plans should they be elected. The power to elect this position may be with the delegates, but many delegates that I know look to those that they are representing at the convention for guidance. I hope all of you will take this opportunity to hear directly from the Vice Chair candidates themselves!
Special Meeting - RPT Vice Chair Candidate Forum Friday, June 10th

Meet The Candidates
Adrienne Pena-Garza
Adrienne Peña-Garza is a strong conservative and proud South Texas patriot who currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Hidalgo County Republican Party. Her passion for advocacy for conservative causes also includes serving as Auditor for the Young Republican National Federation, former Vice Chairman for the Texas Young Republican Federation, and former President of the Hidalgo County Young Republicans. Adrienne credits her strong beliefs in public service to the example set by her father, former State Representative, Aaron Peña, who she credits for paving the way for conservative political advocacy in deep South Texas.
Alma Perez Jackson
I have been involved and working for Republican Party Priorities and Principles since 1987. Beginning as a precinct chairman to my previous term as the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas from 2018 to 2020 I have campaigned fervently for Republican candidates up and down the ballot and across the great state of Texas.
Through 30+ years of Conservative Republican activism and having spoken with literally thousands of voters, I have come to realize that the biggest challenge we face is that too many voters know very little about who they vote for. We must be as active as possible establishing relationships with our voters to gain their trust to the point that when we give them reasons to vote Republican, they take us seriously.
Dr. Dana Myers
Dana Myers, M.D., is a staunch conservative advocate for liberty and devoted to protecting Texas and energizing the Republican Party of Texas' mission -- to identify, educate, train, and mobilize grassroots activists committing to winning on principle. With extensive for-profit and nonprofit executive leadership experience, Dr. Dana Myers has participated in the Republican grassroots movement for more than two decades, starting at the local neighborhood, county, and now state level. She serves as Vice-Chair of Harris County Republican Party, VP Membership of Texas Federation of Republican Women Executive board, and previously Co-Chair of Engagement for HCRP.
