Important Information for Families as Paid Caregivers

It was brought to our attention at Idaho Parents Unlimited today that the Department intends to discontinue Families as Paid Caregivers as of January 31, 2025.

Boise: Idaho Supports Medicaid Screening

This impactful short film shares the stories of Idahoans whose lives have been transformed by Medicaid expansion, showcasing how access to healthcare is saving lives and strengthening communities. Join us for our premiere screening and moderated panel discussion as we explore the importance of protecting Medicaid Expansion, which provides critical healthcare services to nearly 100,000 people in Idaho, and why it is at risk in the coming year.



This is the perfect opportunity to learn what you can do to take action and help protect Medicaid expansion from the deep cuts being proposed in the coming year!

In this free training will be an overview of school services, social security benefits, adult developmental disability services, Medicaid benefits, guardianship, employment, and so much more. This training is optional, not required. This training is typically 1.5 hours long depending on questions

Boise: Understanding Special Education Workshop

Please join Boise School District for our workshop that guides parents through the Special Education Process. This event will take place at Whitney Elementary on November 12th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. We will share valuable information for parents who are starting the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process or for those who have gone through it and want to review all the different components. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for parents to ask questions about special education to our district leadership. Dinner and childcare will be provided!
