CIPS Alberta seeking Project Manager for new ICT Mentorship Program
The Canadian Information Processing Society of CIPS Alberta (CIPS Alberta), with funding from the Alberta Immigrant Mentorship Innovation Grant, is embarking on a three year project to develop and execute a unique mentorship program for immigrants arriving in the province.
To address the talent shortage and skills mismatch, every province in Canada has a fragmented ecosystem with many players involved in the value chain. The Alberta ICT Mentorship Program will bring all elements of the value chain together. It will help an individual find where their professional strengths and weaknesses are, identify the possible pathways to learning, provide access to free learning opportunities, qualified mentors, and a marketplace to find a job.
To get the program started, CIPS Alberta is seeking a qualified Project Manager. CIPS Alberta is the professional regulator in Alberta for IT practitioners and serves IT professionals and the public in Alberta as a non-profit entity.
