PACFA License Renewal Announcement

Hello PACFA Licensees, License Renewal is just around the corner and our goal is to give you information, guidance, and instructions to help you prepare to renew your license! Renewal season is an extremely busy time of year for the PACFA team as we assist facilities with the license renewal process. To get your renewal questions answered as quickly as possible, please reach out to your inspector or the office with your questions now so we can better assist you. All PACFA Licenses Expire on March 1st

Licensed facilities that are not required to report annual statistics will be able to renew their license as early as December 1, 2022. PACFA-licensed facilities that are required by Rule to report annual statistics may renew starting January 1, 2023. All PACFA-licensed facilities may renew either online through AgLicense or by paper application. Both renewal application methods must be reviewed and approved by PACFA.

Check your Emails! License Renewal Notices will be sent starting December 1st Make sure to check your spam folder: License Renewal Notices are automated emails sent from the AgLicense system and may land in your spam folder first. So please check often! The PACFA Team brings on temporary staff to help with renewal season. Temp staff may email you and ask you to make corrections or fix other application issues. Their email will have the CDA logo in the signature line so you know it is from the PACFA program and is not spam or junk email. If corrections are required to your renewal application, information will be emailed to you and must be responded to immediately or your license will not be renewed. Late Fees License Renewal applications received after March 1st by rule shall have a 10% late fee applied automatically to the license renewal fee. AgLicense Online Renewal Site

AgLicense is the online system used to process online license renewals and is available to you at any time to access your account and print your license. Online license renewal using AgLicense is available from December 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023. Please use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to avoid any issues. Internet Explorer/Edge cannot be used to process your online renewal. Accessing Your AgLicense Account Set up your AgLicense account now! You should have received your AgLicense account registration information during your pre-license inspection. Your account information will be attached to the License Renewal Notice that will be emailed starting December 1, 2022.

Annual Statistics Reports

For Shelters, Rescues, Pet Transporters, and Pet Animal Breeders Only Are you registered in the statistics reporting portal? To access the statistics reporting portal, click on the Report Statistics box below or on our web page. Report your statistics first, as you need the report to renew! File Naming Requirements AgLicense will not allow you to upload your stats report if the name of the file does not follow the naming requirements. The file name of your stats report cannot contain the following: Spaces or any special characters such as /, &, () The report download/print button from the stats portal automatically names your report file. As long as you do not change the name of the file, you should be able to upload it successfully in AgLicense. Please contact your inspector or the office with any questions or issues with uploading your statistics report.

Reminder: All facilities that are required to submit their annual report must do so from the PACFA stats portal starting January 1, 2023, as the report must include all of 2022.

Changes to Your License? The following changes will require a new application to be submitted and cannot be made through AgLicense: Address changes, ownership changes, primary business contact/licensee changes, entity type changes, business name changes, etc.? License category changes How do I report my business as closed? If you have closed your business and are not renewing your license, you are required to report your closure by filling out our "Report My Facility as Closed" form here. How do I know when my license is renewed? Log into your AgLicense account anytime to view the status of your license. Your license renewal is approved when the status of the license is "Active". After my license is renewed, how will I receive a copy of my license? The PACFA office does not send renewed licenses. All facilities have access to their license through their account in AgLicense. Where can I get a copy of my license? Our online licensing portal, AgLicense. Simply log into your account and click on the PACFA license button. Be sure your pop-up blocker is enabled on the web browser you are using. Click here for instructions to print your license. Who can I call if I can't get a hold of my inspector or the office?
