WOMEN'S SUMMER LUNCHEON
The women are having a Summer Luncheon this year! The Luncheon will be on Sunday, July 24, 2022 and we will meet in various small groups of 6-8. Your group can choose to eat inside, outside, at a restaurant, at a park, or in someone's home. I hope you decide to join in to establish or renew some connections with your sisters in Christ at AVPC. RSVP to heather@avpc.org to be placed in a small group.
NEW FACILITIES MANAGER
Our new facilities manager, David Mayhew, will begin his duties in mid-July, and we are happy to have him on our staff. Please be in prayer as he begins his work with the church in a few short weeks.
MEN OF THE VALLEY
Over the next 5-6 weeks, we have a unique opportunity to serve our church body, as there is a gap between our former facilities manager, Jody Fredrickson, and the new facilities manager, David Mayhew.

The Facilities Team (Al Foster, Josh Putman, and Bill Sommer) calls for the aid of the men of our church to fill this gap.

Each Saturday morning over the next 5-6 weeks, we will have several small maintenance projects around the church. A Signup such as this will go out several days prior to enlist volunteers.

The projects are able to be completed between 7-10am in order to finish the work in a timely manner without taking the bulk of anyone's Saturday.

Click HERE to see the list of the projects for this Saturday and to sign up.

On behalf of the Facilities Team and church staff, Thank you!

Would you be willing to share the love of Jesus with our 4, 5, and 6 year olds this summer during either late or early service? The time commitment is 40 minutes. Contact Catie (catie@avpc.org) to join in this children’s ministry adventure.
MEN'S COFFEE

LADIES BIBLE STUDIES
Ladies of Altadena come join your sisters this summer as we study the Word together. This summer we will have an 8 session study spanning June and July, with a week off for VBS. Our study, “Anxiety: Finding Comfort and Reassurance from God” addresses a real felt need for most of us these days! We will focus on scripture each week as we press in to God, seeking His answers to our need. Please join us. Each lesson stands alone, so we encourage you to come as your summer schedule allows. This is a great time to join if you haven’t been before, or rejoin if you’ve been away for a bit! You'll find women who will warmly welcome you, and will honestly share the struggles and joys of their walk with God. Childcare for all ages is provided at the Wednesday AM study. Study guides will be available for purchase in the Church Parlor in May.

Monday afternoons: 3-4:30 at the home of Wendy Allison (4612 S. Lakeridge Dr. 35244) and via ZOOM (contact Wendy to be added to zoom list). No babysitting provided. Beginning May 30-July 25th. There is, however, no meeting on on June 20, and 27 and on July 4.
