Pastor Letter: Milestones

We will be honoring Karen & Greg Foster and Peter Rich with their retirement milestones on July 10. If you are recently or soon to be retired, we'd like to honor you as well. Please contact the office.

Other milestones can be honored at any time.

Peter Rich was honored with a virtual retirement party and cake decorated in Defiance colors. His last day is Thursday, June 30. Congrats!

Pastor Gaye’s office hours at the church are now Tuesday & Thursday 9am-1pm. She will be working from home Wednesday mornings due to rising gas prices. She is available by appointment other times.

May will be on vacation July 4-8. Please contact Sandy or Pastor Gaye if you need anything this week.

August 7 after worship

Change for Change: We will be having a collection on July 10 benefiting the Doylestown Clothe-A-Kid program which aids in purchasing clothing and school supplies. Last year 31 children benefited from this community mission. Your giving is greatly appreciated!

Join us for another great outdoor concert on Sunday, July 10 at 3PM. Bring a lawn chair, and enjoy an afternoon of music. We'll have water, lemonade, and boxes of popcorn.

We are now accepting items in boxes (with lids) for the yard sale on Sundays after worship until 12:15PM. Please hold onto any furniture or large items that cannot be stacked.

Outdoor Worship & Church Picnic:

July 31 at Doylestown Memorial Park, Pavilion #2 (off Koehler Ave). Worship at 10:30am with picnic following. No Zoom worship. Food will be provided. Join us for this fun Sunday!

The Doylestown Lions Club’s annual drive for school supplies for less fortunate students in the community is underway. Over the last several years, with community help, over 10,000 supplies have been donated or purchased. The Lions anticipate the need will be greater than ever this year. Colored Pencils, Markers, Highlighters, Folders, 3 Ring Binders and Composition Books are among the top needs. If you prefer to make a financial donation, please write a check to Doylestown Lions Club, 620 Hidden Pond Drive, Doylestown 44230. We are collecting through August 5. Thank you in advance for your generous support!

July 31- August 2 at Doylestown Methodist Church 6-8PM with an optional family dinner at 5:15PM. The mission will benefit the Doylestown Food Cupboard.

Helen & Karen will be volunteering at the Doylestown Community VBS. Children from all communities all welcome to attend. Please contact Helen with any questions.

The Weyands have collected their water for Water Sunday. Have you? Extra bottles are available in the narthex. We'll be sharing our water in January and use it for special occasions like Baptisms.
