THERAPEUTIC RECREATION NEWSLETTER
JULY 2022
Our goal with this newsletter is to bring a creative spin to the way that we stay in touch while showcasing all
what the St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department’s Therapeutic Recreation Division has to offer.
JUNE HIGHLIGHTS
Camp Redbird is in full swing this summer! We have 73 excited and joyful campers participating in two pool days a week, a field trip every week, on-site camp activities like fantastic games, arts and crafts for our creatives, outdoor adventures, and so much more! Our campers got in some movement with Fit Kids this month and met many kinds of reptiles and insects at the Animal Show, including a giant frog and friendly spider. Be sure to check out our weekly newsletters on Fridays located at the front desk for your camper.

*Camp Registration for next summer opens July 15 for St. Petersburg residents and July 22 for nonresidents. You must show proof of residency to register. Camp Redbird fills up very quickly, please call (727) 893–7899 or email Meagan or Alyssa with any questions.
