Maryland Department of Health
DDA Rate Review Advisory Group
July Meeting Date Change and
Day Habilitation Data Collection Training Announcement

The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) Rate Review Advisory Group (RRAG) has been established by MDH to provide a formal, consistent, and unified approach for stakeholders of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) to impact the review of Medicaid rates for Home and Community Based Waivers services for approximately 18,000 Maryland citizens.

Day Habilitation rates have been identified as an FY24 priority for review.

This review process will rely on data collection from the DDA provider network specific to transportation costs and staffing ratios. To support this process, a data collection tool has been developed and is available under the June 17, 2022 meeting agenda on the designated RRAG webpage. This tool includes instructions, however, providers of Meaningful Day services should hold their data collection if they have questions for the scheduled training session on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 4:00PM to 5:00PM. Please register to attend at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7161757372227742219.

All data collection tools are to be submitted by July 15, 2022 by email to robert.white@maryland.gov

To ensure adequate time for data collection and subsequent analysis, the next RRAG meeting will change from July 15, 2022, to July 29, 2022, from 12:30PM to 2:30PM. If you previously registered for the July meeting, you do not need to register for this new meeting date. Members of the public who have not yet registered, may do so HERE . Meeting minutes will be made available following each meeting on the designated MD DDA RRAG webpage.

To support the community to attend this new RRAG meeting date, the Deputy Secretary webinar previously scheduled for July 29, 2022 has been canceled.
