Fourth of July Closure

Campus offices are closed and no classes will be held on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Have a fun and safe holiday.

Food Service Update

Pacific Dining (our new food services vendor) will be opening their coffee bar on Wednesday, July 5 and they will offer grab-and-go items such as sandwiches, pastries, and coffee.

Beaver Cares Food Assistance

We offer a wide range of services including food assistance through Beaver Cares. The Food Pantry offers grab-and-go items as well as pantry items. Find out more about available food assistance on the Beaver Cares website or visit the Beaver Cares Basic Needs Center, located in the Welcome and Support Center.

Stretch Your Mind: Yoga on the Lawn

Welcome to a transformative yoga experience, guided by one of our own ARC instructors, Hanadi Alkhayyat on Wednesday, July 5 from 3:15 - 4 pm on the lawn in between the LRC and the STEM Innovation Center. Join us after at the Learning Resource Center for light refreshments and to learn more about the Tutoring Center.

College Navigation Workshops for Refugees 

If you are a refugee and would like assistance with applying to college, completing the FAFSA, registering for classes, submitting residency paperwork, or any other college navigation help, please come to an in-person workshop. Help is available in Dari, Pashto, Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish. Learn more about the Los Rios Refugee Career Pathways Program.

Computer Literacy Camp

Los Rios’ Refugee Career Pathways Program invites refugees and immigrant women to join us for a free online computer literacy camp from Monday, July 17 through Thursday, July 20 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. Learn how to use computers and their applications. Language support may be provided in breakout rooms in Zoom. Invite your mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends to participate!
