City of Beavercreek renews electric aggregation

program with Dynegy

Beavercreek City Council has voted to renew the city’s electric aggregation program for another 24-month term. Following a competitive bid process, the city has selected Dynegy’s fixed price of 6.928 cents per kWh, which will be applied to customers’ bills beginning in August 2023 and will remain in effect through August 2025.

Memorial Day Ceremony

The city will host a special ceremony on Memorial Day to commemorate the honorable men and women who lost their life while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Limited bleacher seating will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

Tree Hike at Fox Run Park

Bevercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture and the city's Tree Advisory Board have teamed up to create a tree hike! Enjoy a one-mile, family-friendly hike around Fox Run Park while learning about trees and how to identify them. We’ll look at the leaves, bark, and branching patterns of common trees to the area, discuss their benefits to our ecosystem, and why you might choose them for your own landscape. This hike is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Registration for Safety Town is now open! Safety Town is a four-day interactive and educational experience for children entering kindergarten and first grade in the Beavercreek City Schools District.
