Dear Residents -

I cannot believe that we are just one week away from the unofficial start to summer, Memorial Day Weekend. If you don’t have any travel plans for that long weekend, please see the list below of all the Memorial Day events being held throughout Orangetown.

Starting Monday, May 23rd, you will begin to notice changes to the look of SUEZ. That’s because earlier this year, SUEZ merged with Veolia and is now starting its rebranding. Everything from your water bill, to trucks and uniforms, will now have the Veolia logo. On a related note, anyone having difficulty paying their water bill should reach out to Veolia, as they have several plans that may be able to help. For further information, please see the flyer below.

If you are looking for something to do tonight, check out the Boulders game at the (newly named) Clover Stadium and join the Rockland Paramedic Services (RPS) as they honor Ray Florida, the RPS founder and long-time executive director, for his 30 years of work and service to Rockland County. Ray will be throwing out the first pitch. Tickets can be purchased here and if you purchase through this link, you will be eligible to win a prize package valued at $500.00 from Palisades Center.

The weather this weekend is predicated to be very hot and humid. Dehydration can be serious and can happen quickly. So, whatever you choose to do this weekend, make sure to have lots of water on hand for both you and your four-legged friends.

Have a great weekend!

Regards,

Teresa M. Kenny
