AzLA Annual Conference Call for Proposals

The Arizona Library Association invites all library and information professionals to submit program proposals for the 2022 AzLA Annual Conference.

Discount Home Internet Service for Arizona
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) benefit program that helps families and households' access affordable broadband service so they can connect to work, school, healthcare and more. Eligible households can receive $30 in assistance per month ($75 per month for households on tribal lands) to help pay for internet service. Eligible households can also receive a one-time $100 benefit for devices such as laptops and tablets. Learn more about the ACP. 
 
Libraries are encouraged to inform communities about this program by sharing outreach materials created and compiled by Connect Arizona.  
Grant Opportunities
PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T 
PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T is designed to support library adoption of the PLA DigitalLearn online courses and training materials developed with support from AT&T, freely available at DigitalLearn.org to help libraries build digital skills in their community. Applications will be accepted May 16–June 10, 2022.

Funds awarded through PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T will provide the support libraries need to conduct digital literacy training in their community and to promote the PLA and AT&T digital literacy courses. Classes can be conducted either in-person or online.

The panel will invite interactive feedback from attendees to influence future areas of focus and goals for the Diversity Committee.

Our AzLA Annual Conference is back. Please join us October 27-28, 2022 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center in Prescott, Arizona for the return of AzLA's in-person annual conference. Early bird registration opens soon; AzLA member registration starts at $200 and includes breakfast and lunch daily. Pre-conference sessions will be held on October 26, 2022--details coming soon.
