SCARBOROUGH FISH & GAME SPORTING CLAYS

Shooters...
What a great way to start the summer shooting season at Scarborough Fish & Game with the four day Easter Extravaganza. We had three out of four days with great weather for shooting and one day that was great to stay in and look at scores (except for a few hearty folks who did shoot on Sunday). We got to shoot targets off the new telehandler...you will see much more of that throughout the summer

PUBLIC SPORTING
As always, the Main event and Prelim courses will be open this Wednesday, 10am - 4pm, and Sunday, 10am - 2pm, so you can come try the targets that you missed.

HERMON SKEET CLUB
If you're looking for another great place to shoot, Hermon Skeet Club is having a registered sporting clays event on Friday, May 12 & Saturday, May 13...they'll have several events to shoot. Look them up at hermonskeetclub.com.

RESULTS
The Prelim event had some fun targets and was a little easier than the Main. Kevin Kennedy won with a 97. He was followed closely by Dan Warner with a 96...congratulations to both. The Main event was a little more challenging, but we still saw a lot of high scores. Brad Newell shot an impressive 97 to win. Runner up was Kevin Kennedy with a 95...congratulations to both! Super Sporting 100 was popular and a lot of fun. Mick Polakowski had a great day shooting a 99 - congrats Mick! Kevin Kennedy followed with a 95...congratulations Kevin! The 100 target 20 gauge event was really fun. We had a tie between Dan Warner and Ethan Hess both with 96. Dan won after tie breaker. Congratulations to both.
And special shout out to honorary committee member, Pam Rich, who shot consistent, big scores all weekend (including a massive 95 in the Prelim) and by doing so moved up to AA class! Great shooting Pam!
