Ice Cream Sales

Get your ice cream every Wednesday after school! All proceeds will benefit the 8th grade fundraising efforts for their trip to Washington DC.

We Have Hats!

Blue and black snap-back hats are available in the office, in limited quantities. They are $20 each; cash or check only, please.

School Lunches

For safety reasons, we can not allow strangers on our campus, To that end, please do not order your child's lunch from a food delivery service. You may consider using one of our authorized lunch providers: Choice Lunch or The Daily Grind Café as an alternative to a brown-bag lunch for your student.

Race for Education Update

Congratulations OSLS! Thanks to the generous support of our families and friends, the Race for Education fundraising jog-a-thon raised $60,160. With this money, PTO will meet our baseline budget and be able to fund the next grade-level round of one-to-one devices! All student winners were recognized at chapel on Wednesday, October 9, and prizes were awarded in the following areas:

  • The top boy and girl runners from each grade level will receive a pizza party celebration at lunchtime with Mrs. Knight on Wednesday, October 16.
  • The top fundraiser from each grade level was given a Top Fundraiser Movie Prize Gift Pack from PTO.
  • The grade level that raised the most funds will receive an ice cream party (top grade level fundraiser was determined by average donation per student in the grade level to account for varying class sizes). The date will be determined by the teacher.

You can see the full list of winners here

THANK YOU to everyone for all your hard work and support in making this fundraiser and jog-a-thon event a success!

Ministry Updates

Sunday School

Sunday School is offered each week for students in all grades, from 10:30 - 11:10 AM.

Room assignments are as follows:

*Preschool & TK - Rm. 2

*Kindergarten-2nd Grade - Rm. 1

*3rd-5th - Rm. 3

*Middle School and High School Bible study in the Youth Room.

Sunday Worship

Evangelism (sharing the good news of Jesus) is a daunting task for many of us. If we knew that people would accept our message, we'd probably be more comfortable with it. Experience has shown many that not everyone is warm to the idea of following Jesus. Jesus had a similar experience. The world offers a lot of options on how to live. Join us at

9 and 11:15 AM as we will look at why people would not want to follow Jesus, and why they should.

4th and 5th Grade

Youth Group

Next Wednesday, October 16, is Youth Group for 4th & 5th grade. Ms. Sara will pick up the students from their classes at 1 PM. Students will be continuing their Bible study on God's incredible creation and playing games outside. Pick-up is at 2:30 PM.
