Let's Amplify Youth Voices!
The Nevada Afterschool Alliance is asking youth (13 years or older) to submit a short writing, creative, or art piece showing their experiences over the past few months and what they hope will happen in the future, for the chance to win a $40 Amazon gift card.

Authors and artists whose pieces are published in full by the After-school Alliance will receive a $75 stipend, or may be invited to apply to become a 2020-21 Afterschool Alliance Youth Ambassador!

Summer Activity Guide: New Units Available!
The Summer Activity Guide is a suite of fun and engaging activities and challenges designed specifically for this atypical summer.

Planning for summer just got a whole lot easier! We heard your concerns about how to maintain engagement throughout an atypical summer and have developed a suite of fun and engaging activities and challenges designed specifically to accommodate COVID-19 summer.

Units 3, 4, and 5 have been released and Unit 1 is now available in Spanish!
Summer Planning Resources
The Nevada Afterschool Network has compiled new tools and information regarding summer planning and guidance for reopening. This new page will be constantly updated, so make sure you check back often!

Monthly Learning Series
The Nevada Afterschool Network will be offering professional development trainings on the 3rd Friday of each month at 11:00a.m.

Inviting a lawmaker to tour your afterschool program is one of the best ways to show him or her firsthand the impact of afterschool programming on students and families in their district and/or state.

The Afterschool Alliance has created a step-by-step how-to guide to help you get started, plan a visit, execute the visit successfully, and make the most of opportunities to continue building relationship with a lawmaker after the fact. Check it out!
