The answer is always Miata” – Grassroots Motorsports magazine (with more on that, and why from Hagerty: https://www.hagerty.com/media/magazine-features/the-answer-is-always-miata/

“Mazda Miata remains the benchmark in spite of an invasion of two-seat sports cars from other manufacturers. It offers truly outstanding, classic sports car handling. There’s plenty of power for this lightweight rear wheel drive roadster. Amenities are traditional elegantly designed sports car: simple and functional. It isn’t the most powerful, or the most luxurious. It isn’t the most exotic or the most sophisticated. But in terms of an affordable roadster, which is what the original sports cars from Great Britain were, the Miata is near perfection.

- New Car Test Drive April 17, 2000

Finished in Emerald Mica (green metallic) with a black cloth interior and (glass window) top, this second generation Miata has been well maintained and cared for by its car girl owner of 15 years. It’s a nice NB driver, stock, with a Cobalt cat-back exhaust (nice tone, not too loud). It has A/C, cruise control, and a recent major maintenance has been done.

The timing belt, tensioner, water pump and valve cover gasket and air cleaner were replaced, with a full inspection; oil & filter change, all done Sept., 2022 at 102,141 miles. Included are newer carpet mats, convertible top boot cover, wind blocker and air scoop. Everything works as it should.

Disclosures: Driver side fog lamp lens broken. Driver side seat bolster just starting to wear (no splits), a little rust on the driver side rocker panel underside in front of the rear wheel, and the usual scratches and minot paint imperfections.

It comes with two sets of alloy wheels (14 in. & 16 in.) & tires (Michelin Exalto A/S, 185/50 R14, and BFGoodrich G Force, 205/45 ZR16), the original window and dealer stickers, all records & receipts from May, 2008, MiMiata Club “swag” (jacket & ball cap), a Miata parking sign, two keys/fobs, a clean Carfax report with no accidents or damage reported, and a clear MI Title.
