There's some cool stuff happening this month at the library.  The Children's summer Reading Program, Every Hero has a Story is in full swing with programs happening almost every day.  The teen program,  Unmask!, is gearing up for a great month and even the adults can get into the swing of things by reading and tracking to win a raffle.  As always, we are here with books, CD's and DVDs for those long leisurely days of vacation.  If you're looking for some advice on what to read next, Nevins Buzz, our new blog might have just the thing.  Keep Cool!! ( remember those days in February when we were wishing for summer?!)

See you soon,

Children's Activities in July!!

Visit our Outdoor Storywalk

Parents and their children can stop by the library during the months of July and August to read the story:

If You're Happy and You Know It by Jane Cabrera. The book begins by the huge Beech tree and continues around the library building, ending at the light post by the book drop. Don't forget to stop by the Children's Desk at the end of your walk to pick up the craft activity.

Thankful for Heroes Campaign- Help an Active Duty Serviceperson!

Please help us support active duty men and women serving overseas by bringing in an item from our list below. Your donation will be brought to an organization in Stoneham that ships things to the troops serving overseas. Your donation will be a reminder to the service men and women that the folks back home in the USA are thinking of them when they are far from family and friends.

It is easy to participate. Pick a card from our basket. On the back of the card are items that are frequently sent in military care packages. Please bring your donations to the Children's desk anytime you visit the library this summer. If you fill out the back of your hero card and return it attached to your donation, you will be entered into a special "Thank You" drawing. The Last Day for Donations is August 21, 2015.

Summer Reading for Adults

Summer Reading isn't just for the kids!
We have a summer reading contest for adults too!  Starting June 29th, any adult may enter the summer reading program at the front desk.  Then for each week in the six week program, you come back and enter the title of a book you read that week and receive an entry for that week's prize.  Every week we will pull a winner from the entrants for a gift card to a local establishment.  The prize is different each week - don't miss your chance to win!

What's Up in YA This Month?
