NEW: Updates to NAIAHelp


NAIAHelp is in the early stages of being upgraded to Salesforce. We will be contacting various constituent groups throughout the year for input on specific items within the new system. We appreciate your cooperation and insight as we work to improve the functionality of the platform.

NEW: USOPC and NAIA Adaptive Sport Survey


The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the NAIA are partnering to gain a better understanding of adaptive sport opportunities on campuses across the United States. Please help us by completing a brief, adaptive sports survey.

 

Please consider filling out this survey by September 14, 2022 whether you are currently offering adaptive programs, have offered them in the past, or do not yet have opportunities available on your campus. If you have any questions, contact Meredith Lee.

Collegiate Student-Athlete of Character Nominations

The NAIA is seeking nominations for the Collegiate Student-Athlete of Character Award. This award recognizes a student-athlete for a specific of act of character displayed during competition or practice. One overall winner will be chosen and recognized at the 2022 Champions of Character Foundation Luncheon in November. Click here to nominate a student-athlete. The deadline is September 16.

Drug Free Sport Offerings

Drug Free Sport (DFS) has launched a new AXIS website that allows athletes to confidentially inquire about supplements and medications. Click here for login instructions. The NAIA's access code is naialive5. DFS also offers the following educational offerings:


Eligibility

NEW: Fall Cancellations Occur October 1

Beginning October 1, annual cancellations will begin for students with fall 2022 applications for fall sports. Cancellations will only affect students who are registered for fall sports and have taken no action in PlayNAIA since September 1.


NEW: PlayNAIA Performance Deployment

On Sunday, September 4, a PlayNAIA website deployment occurred to address the site performance issues (slowness and errors) that had been occurring over the last month. Please continue to contact us if you experience any issues.

NEW: NAIA Partners with Mammoth Sports Construction and FieldTurf

The NAIA announced it has agreed to terms with both Mammoth Sports Construction and FieldTurf as its 'Official Sports Construction and Architectural Design Firm' and 'Official Turf Partner,' respectively.

 

The agreement is historic for the NAIA in more than just packaged services. Never has the association secured three partnership categories with two partners that can provide a single solution for NAIA schools.

 

Mammoth Sports Construction and FieldTurf have partnered on projects for colleges and universities around the United States. Currently, Mammoth Sports Construction is one of the largest installer of turf in the country for FieldTurf. With the new partnership, the two will provide a consultative and cohesive approach to architecture, construction and turf needs on an NAIA campus. (Keep reading.)
