Fascinator Workshop:
Saturday, May 21, 1:30 - 3 pm
Tea Party: Thursday, May 26, 1 - 2:30 pm

You’ll be the belle of the ball when you make your own fascinator and show it off at our private tea party! All supplies are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring personal touches from home to make these living hats truly unique!
Sunday, May 29, Seatings at 11:30 am & 2 pm

Celebrate spring with this enchanting tea service at Wisner House overlooking the gardens. This Sunday offering includes a full tea menu, freshly baked scones, clotted cream, jams, finger sandwiches, and complimentary prosecco. A tier of delicious desserts carefully sourced from fine local bakeries will also be included.

Sunday, June 26, Seatings at 11:30 am & 2 pm

Food blogger Manasi (@manasiny) gives a fresh take on the classic afternoon tea, infusing it with the spices, flavors, and colors of India. This is an exciting new offering not to be missed!

Sunday, June 5, 1:30 - 4:30 pm

Led by an ACA (American Canoe Association) certified kayak instructor from Kayak East, this tour is rated "Easy" meaning no experience is necessary. Great for families and paddlers of any skill level. Photographers, bird-watchers, and anyone who wants to get outside and enjoy nature will love it!
June 12, and 22, 1:30 pm

Meet with our horticulturists for seasonally informative 'talks and tours' in the garden. See what's new, what's in bloom, and improve your knowledge or learn more about the history of Reeves-Reed Arboretum. This program is considered continuing education for Garden Docents and Docents-in-Training, but the general public is welcome and encouraged to attend. 
June 14 and 21, 7 pm

This outdoor experience will include breathing exercises, guided meditation, and crystal singing bowls, all of which promote deep relaxation and healing of the mind and body. Bring your own chair or yoga mat and anything else needed for comfort (e.g. bug spray) to be outside. 
Wednesday, June 15, 9:30 am

Join us as we explore two local gardens, Greenwood Gardens of Short Hills and Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, and learn about the horticulture and history of these two local gems. Between tours, you'll enjoy an enchanting 'Secret Tea Room' at the Arboretum. Space is limited, so register early.
Wednesday, June 15, 7 pm

Back by popular demand, the Ryan Hernandez Jazz Quartet will kick off our Sounds of a Summer Night Concert Series.

Grounds open at 6 pm for concertgoers to picnic. Performances begin at 7 pm sharp. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Concerts are rain or shine and will move indoors in case of inclement weather. RRA Members are free; Non-Members $15/person; Students $5.

Today's Topic, May 17: Flower Power

Saturdays and Sundays, 9 am - 3 pm

Drop by the Stackhouse Education Center for this self-guided program for families with children ages 3+. Each week is a new discovery!

Registration is not required for Discovery Weekends and this program is free to our visitors; however, please consider making a donation of any size to help support the many valuable educational programs offered at the Arboretum. Donation boxes are located throughout the property.
May 20, 7 pm

Join us for a night of fun around the campfire with stories, songs, games, and interesting nighttime facts. If the sky is clear, we'll do some stargazing and learn about the night sky!
Saturdays, 9:30 - 11 am

May 21 - Strawberries & Tomatoes

If your child likes building things and finding out how things grow, then this interactive, hands-on garden DIY program is for them!
June 24, 6 pm - June 25, 8 am

Pitch your tent, grab your sleeping bag and settle in for a special evening on the grounds of the Arboretum. There will be live entertainment, night hikes, and of course, s'mores!!  Registration will begin Wednesday, June 1 at 9:00 am. You must be a Family-level member or above to register. Cost is $10 per person, children under 3 are free.
June 27 - July 1, 9 am - 3 pm

We have a few spots left in this super fun performing arts camp, culminating in a high energy, original performance. The children will be immersed in a thought-provoking theme used to inspire their show and together they will build a performance using student-made scenery, costumes, and dances created by the group. Expect to have fun, be challenged, and be exposed to various dance styles, storytelling, and incredible music.

The program is led by NYC teaching artists and utilizes the beautiful grounds of Reeves-Reed Arboretum. For Post-K campers ages 5 to 11 years old.
Volunteer Opportunities
Lead Camp Counselor - Paid Position Open!

This position supports the educators in all aspects of camp and ensures that campers are both engaged in activities and following camp procedures. The ideal candidate is personable, energetic, dependable, and has an appreciation of nature, as well as experience working with children.

Hours are from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. You must be at least 18 years old and available for all weeks of camp June 13 - August 26.
(Counselors have off the weeks of June 27 and July 5.)
