Fall Picture Day
We are having all students have their picture day on the same day:
Tuesday, November 5
Toddlers’ and Children’s Houses
Our Toddler's House and Children's House students will all have a gray background for their school pics, as well as a fun, fall-themed background for their fun pics (see picture to the left). Picture proof envelopes will be sent home in backpacks the day after picture day. There will be an option to order online, or use the envelope to order by the deadline indicated on the envelope. (Please note that picture proofs will not be able to be viewed online until at least 48 hours after picture day to allow for processing and upload.) If you do not order by the deadline, pictures can still be ordered, but must be ordered online and shipped at your own expense.
Elementary and Middle School
Elementary and Middle School students will have their pictures taken through the Lifetouch school age division once again this year. Parents will be able to choose a digital background choice when they make their order. You may either order ahead of time without seeing proofs by visiting the MyLifetouch.com website and using our picture day code: EVTZDHBBR (code will be inactive after 2 days past picture day). If you prefer to wait to see a proof before ordering pictures, it will take longer as those will be sent to us approximately 3-4 weeks after picture day with the option to mail in your order, or order online with a different code and ordering instructions.

Lost and Found Overflowing
Box will be emptied 11/22
Our lost and found box in the front vestibule (under the chalkboard) is overflowing. Please check the box if you are missing any shirts, shoes, water bottles, coats, etc. We will empty the box the last day before Fall Break, November 22, and donate the items to Goodwill.

Trick or Treat
While we do not dress up at school for Halloween, we invite everyone to dress up and join in some seasonal fun as the RPMS staff host a Trick or Treat on Thursday, October 17, 5:15-6:15 pm. We will have the gym AND outdoor fenced in playground set up that night, ready to fill treat bags and delight in all the fun costumes. Parents are invited to dress up as well; we just ask that costumes not be scary, violent-looking, or loud so that our event will be family friendly. We are greatly looking forward to seeing all the costumes!

Red Robin Fundraiser
November 6
Stop by the Janesville Red Robin on November 6 for dinner and 20% of your meal’s proceeds come back to RPMS! This is running all day that day, so whether it’s a quick to-go order, or leisurely meal inside, make sure to mention you’re with RPMS. (If ordering online, in the menu, go to the category labeled “Fundraisers (To-Go Only)” and click on that item. Click the “add” button and then “add to bag”, and check out when finished. They also have curbside pickup. We also sell Red Robin RaiseRight cards in the main office or online. Yum!

Family Volunteer Hours
RPMS families are asked to contribute 10 volunteer hours before the end of the school year. Virtual and in-person parent meetings, parent education events, and conferences are included in these hours; double attendance means double the hours! Always refer to the Weekly Update for volunteer opportunities; though some opportunities will be emailed out separately. Families are asked to log their volunteer hours online at: https://bit.ly/RPMShours. Any unfulfilled hours will be invoiced at $10/hour in June.

Culvers Scoopie Night Volunteers
Culvers also asks that all volunteers dress appropriately (no sandals, short shorts or skirts); those with hair longer than shoulder length will be asked to tie it back because they will be delivering food to Culvers guests; and please put away all phones, food, and drink while you are volunteering.
We have three Scoopie Night fundraisers for the year, with our second taking place on Wednesday, December 4 from 4 to 8 pm. This is a great opportunity to hang out with other RPMS families and staff while enjoying some delicious food and treats!
We are looking for adult servers for one-hour shifts. Children may come but must be closely supervised.
